1st prize AltPick Awards!

Woke up to find out that I got the first prize in the 'photographic series' section of the AltPick national award for 2010 with my 'passages' images!

It feels incredibly rewarding to get such wonderful recognition for my personal series.I can't believe that I had been ignoring personal work for the longest time to focus exclusively on getting assignment work.

This body of work is also going to the FORMAT photo festival in Derby (United Kingdom) in March of this year. The images come from many weeks and many many many miles driven in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas.
